The extraordinary element produced by renewable energies through electrolysis,  is called green hydrogen: a pillar to lead our economies towards the carbon neutrality.

The green hydrogen has the global task to replace the grey hydrogen (produced by fossil fuels) and decarbonize the energy sectors.  Most the so called “hard to abate sectors”, above all the industrial sector, uses the grey one about for 75 Mt/year producing about 830Mt of CO2.

In the hydrogen challenge, with the ambitious target of the decarbonization within the 2050, FRIEM support the green hydrogen production through electrolysis, holding a central role in the supply chain.

We provide the primary industry with our power converters, and we supply energy to the electrolyzers needed in the chemistry separation of hydrogen into water for the Power to Gas process.

Thanks to our technology, our solutions can be applied even for the Gas to Power process, for the transformation into clean energy useful to power the fuel cells.

Today, we are extremely glad to confirms our partnership with H2IT – Associazione Italiana Idrogeno e Celle a Combustibile to contribute with the other partners in developing the Italian supply hydrogen chain.
