FRIEM Supports Solidarity in Mobility: A New Vehicle for the Misericordia of Segrate
On Monday, December 9th 2024, the Misericordia di Segrate hosted the handover ceremony for a new specially equipped vehicle designed to transport people with mobility challenges.
This initiative is part of the Solidarity in Mobility project, which has involved numerous local companies, including FRIEM, and was born from a collaboration with Progetti del Cuore, a company specializing in fundraising to support social and healthcare organizations.
The Misericordia of Segrate, an association that has been operating for years in the areas of Segrate, Vimodrone, Pioltello, and Rodano, offers essential services such as transportation to hospitals and clinics, delivery of medications, and home delivery of groceries for people with reduced mobility or in vulnerable situations. This new vehicle represents a valuable resource to further improve the quality and efficiency of these services.
