Principles and organization
The Pagliai-Carnelli family leads FRIEM group with integrity, ethics and transparency. Orietta Pagliai, daughter of founder Angelo is FRIEM’s President, while the operational management is carried out by Angelo’s grandchildren Lorenzo and Fabrizio Carnelli.
Leading this global industrial group into a new era, the third generation of shareholders has assumed roles of primary managerial responsibility, drawing from its history to foster continuous innovation.

Claudio Catania
He worked for the Carlyle Group, Morgan Stanley, Hewlett Packard, he had been member of the boards of directors of Smart - Trust, FRSGlobal, and UC4. He has been a Senior Partner at FITEC and he is a member of the board of Seco, Caronte & Tourist, Cartour, Elco and Ramaer. He has been a member of the Bod of FRIEM since 2022.

Marco Vassallo
Marco Vassallo is Partner at Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR, that he joined in December 2017. Before joining the FITEC team, Marco worked for three years at A.T. Kearney, gaining significant experience at leading Italian and international companies in the retail and TMT sectors, and previously carried out research activities at the University of Cambridge (England), the Max-Planck-Institute (Germany) and PSA-Peugeot Citroen (France). He graduated with honors in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and Ecole Polytechnique in Paris; Marco also holds an MBA "with distinction" from INSEAD.

Dino Martinazzoli, Board advisor, M&A expert
He worked at PwC for 35 years, supporting important international customers with M&A operations and with auditing, due diligence and transaction services. Since 2010 he has been partner at Athena Professionisti e Consulenti Associati. He is external Counselor for FRIEM.

Adoption of the Organisational and Management Model
In line with its values and self-control principles, FRIEM SpA adopted a 231 Model, Code of Ethics, and Supervisory Board composition at its Board meeting on March 26, 2021.
